Information For Prospective Students

We are always on the look-out for excellent students with an interest in trying to answer questions about how nature works. You need not have a background in invasions or weeds - or plants - but you will need to be highly motivated, and willing to apply advanced approaches to some aspects of invasion biology.  But you must also relish the prospect of working alongside people with very different skills and interests.

We are especially interested in people with strong skills in: molecular biology; modelling; bioinformatics; entomology; plant pathology; social sciences; or anything that we haven't thought of yet!

Above all, you need an enquiring mind - "Why?" should be your first answer to everything!  And you need to have a good sense of humour: we are passionate about science, we aim to achieve the highest standards, and we have fun doing it.

So why not come and join us.  You will need to go through the central University application system for admission and scholarships LINK.  But first, get in contact with one of the group.
